Playoffs

The Playoffs are only two games away and the brackets are pretty much set in stone.  If everything goes as planned the Bulls will have the best record in the East and the Spurs will have the best record in the West.  The brackets  will be as followed: Chicago Bulls vs Philadelphia Sixers, Miami Heat vs New York Knicks, Indiana Pacers vs Orlando Magics, Atlanta Hawks vs Boston Celtics, San Antonio Spurs vs Utah Jazz, Oklahoma City Thunder vs Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Lakers vs Dallas Mavericks, Los Angeles Clippers vs Memphis Grizzlies.  The playoffs will be ok in the first round but they will really heat up in the second round.

I need some $

I really need me a job! I need some money because I want to get some new clothes for the summer.  I would like to work at the Yogurt Mountain or Winn Dixie because I think that I would be able to get a job there and work my job well.  Also I have a cousin that works at Winn Dixie so I would be working with him.  He always tells me funny stories about how people steal meat.  I think we would work well together.

Bulls vs Heat

The Chicago Bulls have stepped up once again beating the Miami Heat in a close down to the wire game.  Derrick Rose made another appearance this game but did not show up like he usually does.  He had 2 points, 8 assists, and 1 steal.  The real help came from the super powered bench play.  The starters scored 52 and the bench was not far behind with 44 points to push us over the hump that is Miami.  Lebron had himself 30 points and a late three to put the Heat up by three.  The Bulls however did not see this as a problem finding Cj Watson for a three to tie the game and send it into overtime.  At that point the Bulls dominated the end of regulation outscoring the Heat 12-2.  The final overtime score was 96-86.  Shouts out to Kyle Korver, Cj Watson, and Taj Gibson who carried the Bulls down the stretch and also  Carlos Boozer who hit some late buckets to keep us in the game.

The King

Lebron James is undoubtedly the most talented player in the NBA.  He, however, plays like the Miami Heat are actually Dwayne Wades team.  I love Dwade but when it come to late game situations I would rather have Lebron with the ball instead of Dwade.  Lebron however does not have the heart of a champion.  He plays as if he is scared to miss the big shot and this is the exact opposite of other great players.  Superstar players should want the ball in late game situations and those players include Your Airness, the Black Mamba, and Reggie Miller.  These players all thrived under pressure and he needs to take notes so he can finally win him a championship!

My heart is literally hurting right now.  The Bulls lost to Carmelo and the Knicks yesterday at Madison Square Garden.  The game was bad for both teams but worst for the Bulls since they lost.  The Bulls were down early in the first half.  The most they were down was 21 points.  They battled back in the game and took the lead in late 3rd quarter.  They kept a steady 5 point lead for the majority of the rest of the game until they blew the lead open to a ten point game with about four minutes to go. The Knicks however battled back in the game to be down by three with three minutes a day.  They had a very long possession where Chicago could not get a rebound thanks to the hustle of Tyson Chandler.  Carmelo got the ball back and drilled a shot in leaving only 11.2 sec.  Rose air-balled a shot and they went into overtime.  In overtime with the Knicks down by 2, Carmelo worked his magic again hitting a three from the same spot as before to put the Knicks up by one with maybe 7 or 8 secs left.  Rose came back and missed the shot which was very difficult.  So  yea disappointment was the theme for the Bulls and me Sunday.

Bulls without Derrick Rose

The Bulls this year have played very well with the absence of Derrick Rose.  Here lately they have gone flat and have just recently dropped their first two games in 14 months or 86 games.  They were crushed by the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday and came back to lose to the Rockets Monday by six points.  The Bulls should really regroup and watch some film to see what the problem is. If they do this they should be ready to get a win in against Boston on Thursday. The Bulls need to continue playing with the same intensity that they played with when they defeated Miami, and other 500 teams that they have beaten while Rose was out.

The National Championship will be played Monday April 2.  They will play at 8:23 p.m. central time.  The NO. 1 seed Kentucky Wildcats will be facing off against the NO.2 seeded Kansas Jay hawks.  Kentucky had to go through a long battle facing Western Kentucky, Iowa St., Indiana, Baylor, Louisville, and finally Kansas.  Kansas faced Detroit, Purdue, NC State, North Carolina, Ohio St., and finally Kentucky.  Kentucky was the last NO.1 seed that lasted to the Final Four.  Their versatility on offense and intense active defense is what powered them to victory despite late runs by Kansas.  Their composure during the whole tournament was remarkable and was a testament to what a great coach Rick Patino is.

Final Four

The Final Four will consist of one NO.1 team, two NO.2 teams, one NO.4 teams.  The NO.1 team is Kentucky which is the only team left.  They will face the NO.4 team Louisville Cardinals.  The Kansas Jayhawks will face off against the Ohio St. Buckeyes.  They will battle on Saturday to see who will be in the national championship.  The National Championship will be on Monday April 2.  The favorite of the two in the final four is Kentucky and Ohio St.  These two teams appear to be the most equipped to defeat their opponents.

Yes

I made a 91 on my Chemistry test!  That makes me feel sooo wonderful!  I really needed that good grade on the test to pull up my grade.  I am now really close to getting a C in her class.  However I probably would have had a C if I had turned in my homework.  I was prepared to turn it in the whole day until I got to her class.  I left part of the work in first period I think.  I hope that she will still take some of my work for some credit.

APMEH

APMEH this year has been pretty tough so far.  I am, however, doing well now.  The past semester I recieve a 66 as my semester average.  Now I have an 82 in his class and I do not plan on looking back either.  I hope to get an A in his class by the end of the nine weeks.  I plan to continue this work until the end of the school year.  During the last half of the past semester Mr Clayton bombarded us with stacks of homework that left us enervated.  He piled it on in the last few weeks before Christmas and we barely made it through alive.  We made it though and now I’m resting at a B in his class so all is well.
